The AI is given hard rules: it cannot make editorial judgments, it cannot decide which outlet is correct without corroboration, and it must attribute any charged or opinionated language to the specific source using it.

Statements confirmed by two or more independent sources.
Safe Conclusions
Only what every source in the cluster would agree with.
Source-Specific Claims
Claims attributed to a named outlet — not asserted as fact.

What Chronos Sentinel will never do
Use words like mischaracterizes, falsely claims, propaganda, extremist, far-left, or far-right unless directly attributed to a source that uses them about another source.
Decide which mainstream outlet is correct unless multiple independent sources establish the same fact.
State source language as objective fact. If a source calls a group something, the briefing will say: "[Source] describes the group as..." — not "The group is..."
Speculate about motive or intent unless that intent is explicitly stated in the source material.
